Thanks again for putting so much work into this.

 

Two questions re AP:

 

(1) Should we add AP Diver 4.1 (currently is 3-3.5, would change to 3-4.1)

 

(2) What do you think of adding the Forged Carbon Diver, H-factory version only. Maybe "under review"

YES vote: my review

yes it does it only has two flaws, the 1 on the 15 bezel marker and the writing next to the date window is just a tad out but thats it , very good rep ..

Thanks Aren, I really need to spend a few ours and go through the list with a fine tooth comb and update it a tad, just been too damned busy @ work these last few months.

 

 

Soon, so people with their suggestions of what should be included in the list please keep posting them and the justifications etc so when I go through them all I have all the info I need to be able to update in the most concise manner possible in one foul swoop!

I hope someday they will fix the fucking seconds hand on the Milgauss so it can be on this list. I still love the watch and no one is ever going to notice it, but it bugs me because it would be so easy to correct.

The DeWitt Academia Chrono has appeared on these lists multiple times, but it needs to be banished. Threads about this watch claim a rather dubious logic that, due to the watch's rarity, nobody will be able to tell if it's a rep. Not sure I can agree.

 

I recently purchased the rep here M2M, a C&R. I had a hunch the previous owner had bought based on the idea it was a super rep (because of these super rep threads), and then was disappointed. I managed my expectations so I do not have buyer's remorse - but here are the flaws:

1. The bezel looks like chromed plastic - does not exude quality

2. On the backside, limited edition is misspelled "Limited Edllion" - this is rather obvious once you flip it over

3. On the backside, the issue # is shown as 000/005 - which, if I try to make sense of it, is saying that this watch is so rare it doesn't even exist (ok, dumb humor, sorry)

 

It is a pretty watch and I'll enjoy wearing it once I have a nice strap on it, but I certainly wouldn't call it a super rep.

If there is a consensus something is worth of being included, it will be. The majority of recent models are panerai which I'm not listing, refer to ale's list
