Basel Rumour - Submariner 116613 Returning to the old Blue style dial

Recommended Posts

Just been reading this thread on TRF where someone posted a photo, supposedly from within the Rolex area of Basel today.

The OP in the below link mentions that Rolex are reverting back to the old style blue dial, but members there are not only confused, but nobody can find any 100% proof of this.

Is this is true, it's quite big news, but I call fowl for now.

hard to believe but hopeful that they would, Rolex should have made the 116613 like that in that first place, i dont really like the light blue dial

Interesting. And you can pick up a rep already from BP factory (if you can handle the blurple).

Here's mine:

Meh. Never been a big fan of that particular submariner to be honest.

I'd much prefer something like this:

Only produced as a prototype(unfortunately) from what I read. I included the a link below if you guys want to read about them more.

Sent back a blurple bp recently. Sunburst effect....if you shone a maglite up close to it...!!! And the regularly flawed bp cyclops affixed by a blind, drunk magpie. I wonder has anyone received a cyclops from bp affixed correctly on this rep????? :(
