What's on your fugly watch list?

Recommended Posts

gmchris

anything by hublot - too many fake screws and bolts

Ap. watches are ok round, or square, but not like a 70's tv.

bentley Breitling - too bling

u-boat - too big. In fact anything over 42mm (why)

pams or anything with unnecessary crown guard, trigger lever, or bloody nasa airlock welded on it.

I bought a Rolex PVD sub, and couldn't figure out why I didn't like it, but sold it anyway. Now, in my watch box are two that I keep trying on and then changing to something else. My black face, black bezel,Seamaster, and the Tag Carrera Day Date with black bezel. Then I realised what it was. I don't like black bezels with shiny numbers. I'm happy with the thin SS bezels with black number, and any sort of plain bezel, black, ss or RG. It's just those two that I don't like and will probably sell on. So not a make. more a style of watch.

The Ploprof is a watch of my nightmares.

Hublots of any sort, I hate APs, I think the Ploprof is one of the most ridiculous watch designs, Grahams, UBoats, Invictas, and Bell & Ross. I really don't get the hype about APs. Just my opinion. But mostly anything Hublot puts out is garbage.

Pams, they all look the same and are just a FUGLY watch in general.

Breitlingfan, huh? Well, in that case your judgement is properly excused by the complete lack of common sense and accountability...:-)

I don't understand the fascination with Panerai's. I've actually tried on gen's but I really don't get it. I do like simple watches so just don't understand why it isn't aesthetically pleasing to me.

Hublots and Rolex's, some Omega's are also a no-no.

Perhaps these things are a phase. At the moment I swoon over Pateks, IWC's (the Perpetual Calendar is a subject of wet dreams), the classic Tags.

Give me a year and maybe I'll be "bleh!" on those! :suck:

Have you ever heard of the saying "to each, their own" you like what you like (and people should respect it) you can't expect others to be like you and have your likes. The same applies the other way around, you should respect other peoples fascination with Panerai or Rolex or whatever, hell, even armani lol.

To each his own, Hillscape. There are people out there who actually drive Priuses. By choice!

Dont take this personal bud.... You like what YOU like and that is all that matters. How boring would life be if everyone liked the same stuff?
