PAM 241 40 mm help

I have a PAM 241 40mm that I think is dying. I had not worn it in a couple of months. Friday, I wound it and put it on. Worked fine. Saturday, wore it again. Worked fine. This orning, when I went to put it on, I noticed it had stopped. I reset the time, wound it a couple of times and put it on. It has been working on and off all day. Now, it works for about 2 - 3 minutes and stops. I shake it and it works for another few minutes and stops. Power meter says it is fully wound. Is it time play taps? Thanks.
