sconehead 5 Posted April 24, 2010 Give it a couple of shakes/smacks and see if it ticks. Also, try the start/stop pusher, again to see if it ticks. My son has flubbered his Skyland by resetting the chrono before stopping it and the watch will only work when this pusher is in the stop position. I'm going to have a look at his this weekend, I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that this can be fixed without the need of a stripdown. If your's has the same fault I'll let you know if I find a solution...
Baldrick 1 Posted April 24, 2010 Do NOT give it any 'smacks' or chastisement, it's not a child, you can dislodge the keyless works / mainspring by doing that, try a few gentle taps, sometimes they just need a bit of get'up'n'go, if that doesn't work, try removing the caseback and checking the chrono button pushplates, if one of the chrono pushers has dislodged it can cause the movement to stop! sconehead 5 Posted April 24, 2010 If you're ok with removing the case back and have a dustblower give a few puffs in the general vicinity of the balance wheel. Sometimes the hairspring can tangle/gum up too... Edit:Balders, you don't smack your watches but it's ok with a child? :o
