jerkstore 14 Posted May 15, 2013 (edited) Maybe. Partially depends on your skills/tools. 2813's are so cheap that its probably easier to just pay the $20 and do the movement swap. If you want to and DIY.. It could be that the dial is too tight against the movement, interfering with the operation of the date wheel. That could be enough to break teeth in the movement. Unless you have a spare to draw parts from, you would just want to replace it. Another explanation is that the date drive wheel is somehow out of place. You would need to re seat it. Both of these would require you to decase the movement, remove the hands and dial, and investigate the movement itself. PM me for more info. Good luck.
