TheSav 2 Posted May 16, 2013 Gorgeous watch and amazing pics as per usual Del. you must do something about that retread of a strap though. It really doesn't do much to compliment the watch. I just don't get how such an expensive watch gets lumbered with such a ridiculous strap. What were the manufacturers thinking? I'm looking forward to seeing what you do match it with. Del 4,463 Posted May 16, 2013 Thanks guys! @ TheSav - are you kidding me?! The strap is awesome and is in keeping with the motoring heritage of this particular model.
TheSav 2 Posted May 16, 2013 I understand the reason behind the strap just not a fan of it personally. Damn nice watch still.

Rav747 0 Posted May 17, 2013 (edited) Love chopards!! Hands down one of the most comfortable watches on my wrist. how would you compare this version to the Grey one? Lume aside. Chopard straps are one of the most comfy rubber straps made. Even the cheap GT XL PR sported a great rubber strap. Edited May 17, 2013 by Rav747
Del 4,463 Posted May 17, 2013 Thanks Rav. This version is every bit as good as the grey one as far as I can tell. Looks superb on the wrist and I agree that they are very comfortable to wear.

PeteM 0 Posted May 17, 2013 Nice pics mate...I do like the strap myself.... The rep strap aint great ...and considering the gen is only £80 (I say only when compared to other marques..)... I think its worth the investment.. and much easier to buy ie you dont need an S/N like most There are differences between rep and gen... enough for me to go gen anyway.... plus its like having your own air freshener.... ... the vanilla smell is really strong on a gen and doesnt leave it after wear but non existent on the rep I did some comparison pics to show differences... plus the gen is softer and more comfortable on the wrist especially when hot..
