RussP 22,655 Posted May 18, 2013 Feedback appears acceptable (1 neg fback only) I'm no vintage horology expert, but judging from the bidding on all his offerings, it appears that the items may be legit after all. Let's see if anybody else on the forum thinks otherwise.
James. 4 Posted May 18, 2013 They're not real "watches" there's no such thing as a vintage 48mm watch, they were all (99% of the time) sub 38mm in size. These are pocket watch dial implanted into after market cases. I'd have high doubts over the legitimacy of the movements too.

Similar doubts on the movement, those engraving of the brand on the movement looks very new and clean, too clean for a vintage movement.
irate03 0 Posted May 18, 2013 looks like another case of chinese factory parts, a box of old pocket watches and some quite skilled engraving. They look nice but you could probably get the case for $40 the movements for about the same and the strap is probably cheap as chips.

gtwc 1 Posted May 18, 2013 The Romanians / Albanians or some such 'ians' do the same on eBay UK with IWC branding. There was a thread about it somewhere not so long ago....... +1 to Semaj that all originals would veer to the minus side of 38mm. I also hate those fuckin' onion crowns !
