If I wanted to buy an proper eta 6497 do the bridges from an Asian 6497 fit over the top, ie do the screw holes and anything else thing else important line up.

 

Or is there a better solution to get a nice looking engraved movement.

I did it once, so yes, may just be your luck if the screw holes match,,,,,,,,,not sure on that.
