greg_r 83 Posted May 8, 2010 it's such a humble and modest thing of beauty.....it's hardly noticeable Yup - it has a certain subtlety to it - rather like driving a Maybach. I like it
houndoggie 58 Posted May 8, 2010 Already posted this watch today, but I've just switched it back to the mesh bracelet, which gives me an excuse to post it again. I LOVE this watch It's a beaut! Today:
NFleischer 4,355 Posted May 8, 2010 @PDiddy Here's my new modded gray Themes. Its a beauty with AR, Polished bracelet, Lume and Servicing. I got it from Kool @ RWG1 The sec @12 start at about $500 and go up. The alternative I think is an MBK sec @9. also at least $500. Nobody seems to like the older sec@9 models for $250-300. You can also get a pretty good quartz model for about a $
P_Diddy 0 Posted May 8, 2010 is there a pic of your mesh clasp anywhere? Already posted this watch today, but I've just switched it back to the mesh bracelet, which gives me an excuse to post it again. I LOVE this watch
greg_r 83 Posted May 9, 2010 is there a pic of your mesh clasp anywhere? No. But I'm wearing it again today.
GC 4,517 Posted May 9, 2010 VERY NICE, not too bling for an AP! how accurate is it compared to the gen? How much approx would this cost from the recommended dealers? Cheers PD @PDiddy, I don't think it's ultra accurate due to it being a quartz version (the chrono layout is incorrect), but I bought it off macscac for $120 a few days ago in the member2member sales section. I bought it because I really like the look of the SS/White & wanted to try out an AP on the wrist befor I spent $500+ on an accurate A7750 sec @12 version. Now, to tell ya the truth, I'm not gonna spend that kind of dough because I REALLY like this one! (this is totally out of the norm because I don't collect quartz watches) ________________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________ Sunday... tdubt 0 Posted May 10, 2010 is there a pic of your mesh clasp anywhere? No. But I'm wearing it again today. Mine from Mary is supposedly at the PO after a failed delivery attempt on Saturday. On the OR of course. What is the verdict on picking up the best mesh these days, until a REP is made of the GEN mesh??? Can't wait to get it!
greg_r 83 Posted May 10, 2010 seikoprince on eBay is a good source of inexpensive mesh bracelets. If you want to spend a bit more, take a look at Staib. None of them are particularly gen-like, though, so I decided to stick with a cheaper bracelet for now. Hoping that a decent rep mesh will appear - if not, I can see myself going gen... $$$$$
