New pickup; Seiko 5 Series Diver

Recommended Posts

Lars_St

Hiya,

So I was browsing the internet to search for a new Seiko to replace my other (broken) one.

It didn't take me long to fall in love with the ''Seiko 5 series'' watches and after a bit of doubting between some watches I picked a diver :)

I think that my choice was a bit influenced by the Submariner look but that a side, i love it!

Bought it on Amazon from ''Mrwatch'', which i found pretty funny since thats also an alias of Marvellous :P

Anyways, payed on Wednesday, and got it today. Pretty fast since it came from Canton Ohio and im located in the Netherlands :)

Enough talk, let the pic's speak for itself.. ENJOY.

The movement is an Automatic 23 Jewels.

Flip lock, with clasp. Seiko stamped into the clasp.

The wristie :)

And last, but definetly not least. The lumeshot. Was pretty suprised that it's actually a very good lume!

Well, that was my new Seiko :)

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures.

Was pretty surprised that it's actually a very good lume ! - No way Seiko lume is legendary, rumour has it it comes from deep inside reactor No 1 at Chernobyl :giggle:

Looks like a great buy, quality is superb for price.

Congrats, love the look of these, and the white on black DWO is spot on. What size is this though? 38mm?

Congrats, one of the best price for money watch. I have the same in blue and love it. Great lume and overall quality way better than same priced reps.

Enjoy.

+1 on that. I have a few Seikos and they have, by far, the best lume of anything in the box. You will love your Sea Urchin!

Really liking these Seiko. Planning on getting one for a travel and vacation watch. Unbelievable value for the money. BTW, is at a 38 or 40mm watch and congrats on a great purchase.
