Just finished my Daytona 6263

A few years ago I bought a Alpha manual win chronograph on ebay for $80. I also bought a 6263 dial, the dial is suppose to be genuine but I cant tell for sure. Its has "singer" stamped on the back but I did buy it from china so.....

This is the dial in question

Here you can see the "singer" marking. Notice I had to remove the legs from the dial. THe "seagull" movement did not fit this dial. The dial is meant for a 727 movement. I used 2 small drops of glue and manually centered the dial on the movement.

Here is the finished product. The only thing that bugs me is the red sweeper.

Agreed. The red hand needs to go. Very nice looking dial though. Seems a shame to put it on an $80 watch. :mellow::lol:

The dial cost more then the watch :giggle:
