James.

be wary in a PVD case it'll be very hard to see anything, think about a TI or brushed SS case ;)

Go for black hands and stealth lume too.

You won't be able to tell the time, but what the hell ;)

Go for the all-in, full-on, blacked-out, stealth-galore moddafucking treatment!

Being able to tell time is not what watches are about at all..

It will look good only with a very good AR on the glass. If not you just have a nice mirror :D

Go for it!

Ordering a few from Getat......he's even blacked out the seconds markers. Doing it on the same case as above. and on a Rardiomir case.

Never thought about blacking out the hands though......and in a PVD case.....? Might look real nice too!

+1

That's not what watches are for.

That's taking stealth to the extreme.............

Is it just an urban myth (Greg_R?) that there is such a thing as 'stealth lume'.

Or does that just mean 'no lume'?

I don't know.......I've seen a few "stealth" watches out there from various companies like.....Seiko, Lum-Tec, Android.

You can build these on the cheap though.....if you don't like the look you could always swap some silver hands on it with blue (bright white) super lume. Never know till you try it.

Isn't that how everything is? Stealth lume = no lume ... but at a price premium because it's "stealth".

So 'stealth lume' could also mean 'normal rep lume'...............

I think Tritec carried a grey "stealth" lume at some point in the past. Personally I'm not a fan of watches that you can't tell time on. You'd just be wearing an odd looking bracelet. JMHO
