Chavezzito 121 Posted June 20, 2013 Hey guys, Just popped my Rolex cherry today when my Explorer II arrived, bought it from Ryan next door and all went pretty damn smooth. I´m not a photographer so these pic´s will have to do until a proper photoshoot is made by my brother. On to the pics: I´ve read that for some the clasp does not line up when closed but mine is pretty good: All in all I am very impressed, it has a A2836 movement...bracelet, clasp, the whole watch feels really good and subtle!! I´m happy

That´s a shame...but I do not know if I would be sad if it dropped on mine. I bought one recently too, it's an understated beauty! Hollis48 0 Posted June 26, 2013 Just ordered the same watch from Andrew at Trusty Time, same movement. Was thinking about the Swiss movement but just couldn't justify the price difference. Seems like the 2836 is a good choice though...how's the weight feel?

I thought the same as you about choosing a Swiss.

moredhel 0 Posted July 18, 2013 Well, for one thing, the lume is waaaaay better applied on the black. My white has pit marks on all markers. Now wondering if I can get a black dial from Mary.

Probably not if it's from the Noob factory, as they won't sell spare parts !
live1 0 Posted July 18, 2013 very nice is the only flaw the handstack and the dial not bright white compared to gen,
brtrep 0 Posted July 18, 2013 Wonder how much a gen dial would cost? Where would you even look for one? ~TIA
J.S. 0 Posted July 19, 2013 Wonder how much a gen dial would cost? Where would you even look for one? ~TIA Used gens go from 6k to up.
Odyseus 1 Posted July 19, 2013 Just the DIAL I wouldn't see the point of even attempting to fit a gen dial when the hand stack is such an obvious tell!!!
LightGeek 25 Posted July 19, 2013 Just the DIAL I wouldn't see the point of even attempting to fit a gen dial when the hand stack is such an obvious tell!!! I think the only ones that know about the hand stack or care are rep owners. Gen owners will probably be fooled unless they try and set the GMT which is completely different
