TheSav 2 Posted July 5, 2013 Well I have lived with this for a day now and I must say, even with it's slight flaws, I love it. I'm glad I went for this over a modded Seiko as it's something a bit different. Okay, I know it is still a Black Bay homage, rip off or whatever. But it is a lovely watch as I am sure most of you will agree. Here are the specs: Case Size: 42mm x 50mm Screwed down crown Flat Sapphire Crystal with A/R coating inside 60 clicks bezel unidirectional with spring line Seagull ST2130 ETA 2824-2 Automatic Clone Movement 316L Stainless Steel Case Lug Width: 22.00 mm Water Resistance: 300 meters Case height: 12mm 316L Stainless steel bracelet Swiss Made C3 Superluminova applied to dial and watch hands Screwed Case Back with engraved anchor 12 months warranty The good: The watch wears very well and fits under my shirt cuff nicely. The AR is very very good. The crystal disappears under most angles. The bezel is very good and positive. No rattling or free play. Crown screws down easily and is a pleasure to operate. Super smooth and quiet rotor. Seconds hand sweeps nicely Bracelet is solid and well made. No sharp bits. The bad: Pearl is not centered. BASTARDS!!! I have emailed an asked for a replacement bezel from the manufacturer. Still waiting for a response. Clasp closes too well. It is a bugger to open. I can fix this though. So it's not such a big issue. Just pointing it out. I wish they had put their anchor trademark on the crown and clasp. That would have set it off nicely. Overall it is a beautiful watch and I am wrapped with it. I even had a comment from one of my clients today. It is not often anyone comments on any of my watches at all. So I was surprised. He liked the snow flake hands and was a Tudor fan. He was wearing a cheap ass Citizen though and lived in a multi-million dollar house overlooking the ocean. Go figure. I'll finish off with more pics for your viewing pleasure.
greg_r 81 Posted July 5, 2013 Nice pickup, mate. Very similar to the Squale BB homage that was around a while back.
