Olly 0 Posted July 6, 2013 Hi guys, I'm in a situation where I need a portable laptop for university. I have a AP Diver that is being repaired by Kenny and it is a Swiss ETA version. It has had £190 I work on it so that's around £550 in total value spent on the watch and repair. I don't know if I should sell it and get the MacBook Air or keep it. I do love my AP for the little time I have had with it but I also don't need 4 watches.... I need a Apple Laptop though.... Help me What should I do ? Thanks, Olly Sent from iPhone 5 using Tapatalk on iOS

diegosaenz 0 Posted July 6, 2013 Just get a PC, I got a macbook last summer because I work in advertising, sure it does work nicely but not +$1,000 better than a pc, plus I get a laptop at work meaning that... I use it to browse the forums now lol.
Kleen™ 45 Posted July 6, 2013 The new MB Airs are awesome - I would rather get rid of every single one of my reps than miss the Air for my studies. Fortunately I don't have to choose, but I would... PS: Get the 13" - the 11" is too close in (screen) size to the iPad.

stenchlord 0 Posted July 6, 2013 Get the laptop, study hard, get a well paying job and buy multiple watches as a reward.
nyckid 0 Posted July 6, 2013 Olly, with the money the laptop will get you (using it to graduate) you will be able to buy many APs and RWG will still be here (with 300k members then) so, I'll say laptop as well Good luck bro
LightGeek 25 Posted July 6, 2013 MacBook Pro, refurb. I have a totally maxed out MBA 13" with i7/8GB/512SSD and would take a huge hit if I sold it for this years better battery life version. Next one I'm buying is refurb.
Monty010 1 Posted July 6, 2013 Get the MBA. Use it to study and browse RWG at school. Graduate and buy a new watch as a present.

Next one I'm buying is refurb. I would advice against the MBPro (any version) as I had the i7 as well before "down"grading to the MBA: Way more portable/lighter, better battery life irl, way faster hands-on (despite slower processor, because of the SSD) less reflective screen than the MBP. The AIR IS just an overall better value proposition even if it cost the same as the PRO.
