Chairman7w 0 Posted July 10, 2013 I enjoyed the customization work of my Orange Bezel Omega from Selix so much, that I decided to play the game again, this time with the white dial Broad Arrow from Selix. It's one of their Specials for $35. I'm guessing it's because of the type on the clasp "SeaMastei". But for $35, I figured it was worth checking out, as I had a couple of blue straps I wanted to put on it. As always, the transaction with Selix and Michelle was terrific. Fast, responsive and pleasant. Once all the preliminaries were out of the way, and payment made the product was shipped *immediately*. It arrived in Sacramento about a week later, packaged in plastic, bubble wrap and styrofoam box. Very secure. I was pleasantly surprised at the crispness of the number markers, they looked very sharp in blue. The watch is 21J automatic movement (as most of mine are). After unwrapping it, I was immediately struck by the flimsy rattleyness of the bracelet, and cheap stamped metal clasp (with Typo). Just as with the orange bezel OMega, I ditched this immedately and installed a blue leather strap I had with white stitching. It looks very sharp to me, I really like it. The watch works great, and looks great, too. The only complain I have is the crystal, which distorts pretty bad at any angle beyond 45 degrees. You just can't beat it though for $35, and I've already picked out a really sharp light blue croc strap from Panatime I want to put it on. Thanks again Selix! GrimReaper 0 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) I also have this watch, and I must agree it is a nice watch for its price. But first of, it is not a Broad Arrow, it just has a BA caseback. Google Broad Arrow and you will see how it looks. This is an Aqua Terra fantasy watch. This is the closest gen: http://www.omegawatc.../23110422102002 I must say all blue looks even better than red/blue gen. I currently don't wear this watch, because it has very big end links. End link to end link is 58mm, and I have a 53mm wide wrist. Also lug to lug is quite big at 49mm. So I removed the bracelet, and I'm now waiting for these two straps, one will probably be on this watch: http://www.watch-ban...-Amazon-20.html http://www.watch-ban...-Grand-Duk.html I like the big dial and glass. It has the biggest dial of all my watches. As with all my Chinese watches, case between lugs is poorly finished. And second hand stutters a little. My watch also has problems, automatic date change at midnight doesn't work, and the watch stops sometimes even if it still has power reserve. But all in all it is still a great looking watch and I might buy another one, hopefully without problems. Edited July 16, 2013 by GrimReaper

NCRich 13,798 Posted August 1, 2013 Good deal! Maybe a mod can change that crystal for you. Indeed, mod a $35 watch. I would think the strap would be enough of a mod. I do like the look though.
