The blue look to the dial is most likely caused by the AR (anti-reflection) coating that is applied to the crystal. The gen crystals have this sort of a violet tint aswell.

Yeah. They are supposed to be pictures of "your " watch before it is packaged and shipped so that you can say yay or nay. There have been some infamous cases though where QC pics of the same watch were sent to different buyers. But we don't talk about that ;) and it wasn't Silix.

Thanks to everyone for their help over the last month in helping me choose a watch(http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=59716).First but no means last.

Have learned loads from this site. Before I joined here a rough movement was what happend after a night on the guinness.
