I have looked on the forum, am I missing something stupid?

There is no link to do so.

I see pics posted directly on this forum, not links to photobucket.

But I guess I could do that if I had to.

 

What do you have to join some sort of ............."THING" and do a little dance first?

Hey there Steve,

 

Yes....the dance is to start with going to www.photobucket.com, or www.imageshack.com or flckr or some image hosting site, and set up an account.

 

You can then upload your images into your image host account.

 

copy the img code and paste it into your post.

 

The reason why we do this, is to save bandwidth in the forum itself.

 

The photos you see are actually being seen from your image hosting account.

Don't feel bad, it took me a year before I could post pics.

 

Just remember the tags. Before and after.
