malloc 0 Posted May 27, 2010 Simple noob question... I'm just wondering how watches are measured? They're always listed as 40mm, 44mm etc - where does that number come from? I've had a bit of a search but I've found conflicting info. I *think* it's diagonally across the case from 2 to 8?
graman 2 Posted May 27, 2010 I work 9-3, excluding the crown....10-4 or 2-8 would I suppose, do the same thing, depending on the width of the lugs...you may get some interference at 10-4 or 2-8.
AllergyDoc 40 Posted May 27, 2010 Measure the case w/o the crown.
malloc 0 Posted May 27, 2010 ok cool. I haven't missed anything then. I'm considering getting a 44mm PAM but had read a lot of comments about them looking too big on a lot of wrists. I wanted to get a better idea of the size so I measured my current watch and it's 42mm. It doesn't look that big to me though, so I thought I might be doing something wrong.
