It took me forever to find the correct size pocket watch dial without a seconds hands. Removed the dial and put it on a ST36 movement. The case and hands are from the czar of Oakland, O'Frei. I don't know what the width is on the Tauchmeister, but on mine the lugs are 22mm...the thickness is about 2 mm. Thickness on a high quality german mesh run 3.5 to 4.8 and more..but very pricey. I have a much thicker (and better quality) mesh bracelet on my SOH, though (around 4.5mm), but it was still very inexpensive. Can be had for around $40-$50 on eBay...
