James. 4 Posted August 20, 2013 If only Balders got hit hands on one, i'd be agog at the photos their fling would produce, but for now, hodinkee will have to do. IMO a beautiful watch, lovely lines, perfectly proportioned, much more preferable to the sea hawk which I find a little too toolish and cumbersome for mine, with the PR indicator, and dials with sponsor logos drive me nuts, BMW i'm looking at you here. And I can't figure out which I love more, the black or white dial versions, which is a credit to the strap designers because generally one dial combination generally stands head and shoulders above the other, but the straps match each perfectly. List price i've grazed to be somewhere in the vacinity of $11-13000. Quite a lot considering that's getting into 15300/15400 territiory which would no doubt maintain their value a lot more efficiently than the GP, but there's just "something" about this design, unique in a similar mould to Linde Werdelin (another thread for another day) except more refined with just thre right amount of colour on the tips of the seconds needles. And the dial.... I think i'll let the (stolen :P ) photos do more justice than I could ever give.
Realism 72 Posted August 20, 2013 I'm pretty sure the discounts are high on GP pieces even new
TheSav 2 Posted August 20, 2013 Definitely a beautiful watch. I really like the case design. Interesting rotor too. Given a choice I'd opt for the white dial. It just seems to pop a bit more IMO.
