Ultimate Planet Ocean

It's a term used for the best version of the 45mm Planet Ocean

Ultimate Planet Ocean. It's the most reliable replica, I guess. Somebody correct me, if I'm wrong

One more question about the UPO...

What does the He valve do?

On the rep? pretty much nothing, on the gen however it is used to release helium after deep diving.

Not much of anything on a Rep, but on the Gen the HE valve provides a way to equalize the pressure when diving at depth with the watch.

On a real planet ocean the helium release valve allows a professional diver to purge their watch of built up helium accumulated during a prolonged dive.

Helium molecules present in the helium/air mix used for very deep dives is a really small molecule and in a pressurised diving bell or sub these molecules can get past the seals in the watch. On decompression if the valve isn't released the build up of pressure can crack or displace the crystal and/or cause serious internal damage.

Hence the release valve.

Hope that helps!!

on the rep, it is just another weak point for water resistance.

Put the watch inside your mouth and press the helium release valve with your finger or tongue: you will talk like Mickey Mouse for ten seconds. Boatloads of fun at a party.
