Cleggers

Hi i've been a member for a few months but this is my first post.

So far thanks to good info on the site I've bought 2 reps one from lawrence and one from Narikaa, two cheapies which i'm very happy with.

One is an omega seamaster and the other is a tag carrera.

I received the Omega today which was excellent as it was sent to me free shipping Thai post on the 2nd of June.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the bracelet on the watch, as it is too big, any links to videos or info would be good, or is it better to take to a watchmaker to adjust?

Thanks Cleggers

Welcome to The Madhouse!

Resing bracelet is quite easy operation, require screwdriver, if it's screws, or sledgehammer, if it's pins.

Post the pictures, with side view of the bracelets, and we'll tell you.

Omega is held together by pins. They are notoriously difficult to resize as the pins are very tight. Give it a go yourself if you have the equipment, otherwise take it to the watch guy at the mall. They'll do it for a few pounds.

It will save you an hour of frustration, scratches on your bracelet, and maybe a few finger punctures.

Hi Cleggers. Always good to welcome a fellow Brit to the board ;)

AD gives good advice - if you've got a pin pusher, Omega bracelets aren't too bad. If you haven't, they're not fun. A local watch guy (not an authorised dealer) is probably your best move
