Masking the rubber insert while polishing?

Recommended Posts

<RJ>

So. After some time i manage to scratch the tiny ss part between the rubber on the bezel and the sapphire on my so44 :ph34r:

Fortunately i didnt scratch the rubber itself.

Question is if someone have polished that part and if so, how?

The fear stopping me from masking it off is if the rubber comes off.

Just leave it be, its a watch and watches get scratches. I don't get people's fascination with making sure their watch looks factory mint. Let it look worn and loved and once and a while give it a spit shine.
