adz25 0 Posted August 29, 2013 I have a gen SOH and have tried the chrono on. It looks a lot more 'busy' than the non chrono version imho

gran 198 Posted August 29, 2013 date window is only downside, unbalances the watch
myaz 3 Posted August 29, 2013 IMO, They put the DW in the best place, would have looked unbalanced pretty much anywhere else.

I this a white on black DW would be the nuts on that thing. Beautiful watch though I have to say. Edited August 30, 2013 by SSTEEL

greg_r 81 Posted August 30, 2013 Possibly the prettiest SOH chrono yet IMO.
Wriggles 12 Posted August 30, 2013 Prefer sans red hilights, personally. ^^^^^This Too many colours, should have stayed just black and white, another Panda then for lusting after
Baldrick 1 Posted August 30, 2013 Sorry Gran, don't agree with your view regarding placement of date, if you're going to have a date, 6 is the perfect position for it, this Bert is quite a pretty watch, only down-side for me is the size of the sub-dials, they look too small for my liking, too similar to some of the quartz chronos that proliferate the marketplace, whilst I appreciate that the chrono shown below is more of a dress chrono, I think the larger sub-dials make a bolder statement, very striking, if the Bert had slightly larger dials, then we'd be cooking with dynamite. Baldrick 1 Posted August 30, 2013 No need for fear, it's just a 'smiley' Altho I agree with you, a design faux-pas on ML's part, they should have placed the "Chronographe Manufacture" on the case-back instead!

nev848 0 Posted August 30, 2013 Two for sale on Chrono 24 for around £3.5K To be fair probably agree with the date window but love the sporty look against the more classic look of the black SOH. I walked away from a new Gen Chrono 46 with Shark mesh the other week as this was going to be my next buy but when it was on my wrist it turned me in to a "look at me look at me" and this made my decision to buy the Omega Moon.
