Member X 91 Posted June 14, 2010 Hello Who did you buy it off? How much did you pay? Post some pictures so we can see it! It sounds like the crown or stem has come out - not impossible to fix but we'd need to see to be certain

Ska 11 Posted June 14, 2010 1. first you need to upload photos onto flikr/photobucket etc. 2. then copy the IMG code (its usually listed under the thumbnail in your flikr/photobucket viewer.) 3. Hit reply at the bottom of the thread. 4. EITHER a.) copy the IMG code (looks like: OR b.) When the reply window comes up, you'll see a list of icons at the top of the text input window. The 'Landscape' icon to the left of the smiley is the one you want. Just click on it and then copy the direct URL to the image in that box that appears and press ok. It will automatically add the tags to the photo and embed it. Hope that helps.
Silverspeed 10 Posted June 14, 2010 Try and reinsert the stem...it may just click right back in if not remove the caseback and gently press the stem release button while reinserting the stem.

Member X 91 Posted June 14, 2010 Thanks, Dingle! You might be able to source a new stem from the shop?
fakemaster 0 Posted June 14, 2010 The problem is his old stem is still in the watch.
Silverspeed 10 Posted June 14, 2010 Best option would be to try and have it fixed locally and cheaply If not I would through it away...no point in sending a $29 rep back

Member X 91 Posted June 14, 2010 I'm no technical person! but if the others are saying you still have the stem stuck in the watch, you might be able to get the back off, release the stem that's stuck, then add it to the other bit to get the length so you can look for another one
Luthier 1 Posted June 15, 2010 Throw it in the trash can and don't buy shit anymore.
fakemaster 0 Posted June 15, 2010 Based on where it broke off he won't be able to do it without taking the movement apart. Where are you located?
