GC 4,517 Posted June 16, 2010 Have a look, I think it might just be perfect! Of course I would remove the adjustable links and just mount it to the divers clasp that the rubber strap is currently on. It might be a snug fit for some but I think I can get away with it on my 6 1/2 inch wrist. greg_r 82 Posted June 16, 2010 Looks pretty good. Have a look at this one too - it's a damned good bracelet for the dough: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/24mm-Divers-Lock-Sta...=item2ead257ab5

And I wouldn't have to remove so much of the bracelet with this one as I would have to do with the one I linked to. much appreciated G!
greg_r 82 Posted June 16, 2010 SeikoPrince is the go-to guy for cheap mesh. Just be aware of the limited range of adjustability on that particular model, so check the measurements. He usually has a couple of varieties in 24mm... Edit: This is the other one. It's good quality and much more adjustable: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/24mm-Divers-Lock-Sta...5#ht_2563wt_913
GC 4,517 Posted June 17, 2010 I came across this in a review/comparison of the PloProf 600 vs 1200, here are the bracelet measurements respectively: I also did some measurements on the rubber strap that came with the PloProf: They are 24/20, so it does taper considerably. Now Of course I want to use the clasp that came with the strap because...well...it's great! So for all those who will eventually be looking for a mesh for the PloProf, if you are considering to use the clasp that comes with the watch, you need to find a mesh band that tapers from 24mm to 20mm. It looks like this model will actually work best for these measurements: link: http://cgi.ebay.com/24mm-Stainless-Steel-W...=item2a07c43be0

GC 4,517 Posted June 20, 2010 This is the mesh to get: $50 http://suppaparts.com/html/mesh_bracelet.html Thanks HD, I believe you are correct, that looks just like the one I first posted, ableit it's less expensive...which is perfect! Now do I wait to see if the factories build a mesh or do I get this one...hmmmm.
Luthier 1 Posted June 20, 2010 IMO, mesh is great for dress watches, but on FoolProof Omaga... I'm not sure. This watch is too "manly" for elegant mesh. But it's my personal opinion.

Luth, I know what you mean... On paper it doesn't sound like a great combo, like you said dress/rouge. But having played with one of the gens before getting the rep, I can tell ya because the mesh is soooo thick & heavy... it looks more like a shark-proof mesh suit than the elegant dressy mesh we all know.
