A tale of two Seiko's.....

Having just missed out the other week to R1evans sale of an SKX009 to Pharmo, I was browsing Amazon, as you do and was looking for a pepsi dial style Seiko and came across another two along with the SKX009.

Soo, I had to rush off to do something and popped all three in my amazon basket to look at later. Came back and decided for the time being I would buy the SNZF15K1 over the SKX until later.

Clicked delete of the SKX in the basket and also the other one..................................so I thought.

Didn't realise I'd not deleted it properly and pulled the trigger.

God damn it. Along with the SNZF I'd also bought an SRP207.

 

Both arrived today. Just as well they are both awesome.

I need to be more careful, lol..

 

Just a few quick pics for now as just in from work and the wee one is demanding her tea.

I'll get some more later when the front is clear.

Pharmo, I will order one soon. And one of those straps too. Looks great.

 

Loving the SRP. The bezel is black PVD, the top of it is actual crystal with the print underneath and the numbers having a metallic background. Really rather bloody nice.

Crown is PVD too, although like the SNZF it isn't screw down. 44mm case diameter, clear case back and has the 4R36A 24 jewel auto movement with hand winding and hacking.

 

I've not done many as Del has lots of pics of the SNZF15. 7S36C movement.

 

Lume on both is the usual nuclear Seiko spec.

Yes- I like the SRP 207 as well. Good thing about Seikos- another won't break the bank.

 

I wish I could order Rolex as casually. Imagine, I just ordered the Gen Explorer 2, and OPPS, accidentally

 

I added the TT Ceramic Sub to the 'cart'. Oh well, only another $12K on my Amazon account.
