And yet another FFF mod

Recommended Posts

I bought the cheapie Amazon deal Seiko and thought,"55 fathoms, just do it. Plenty of instructions out there, low complexity modding etc." Anyway, I did exactly the same as Greg and ordered the wrong dial, unlike Greg, however, I couldn't figure out what to do and ended up bending the second hand beyond repair - damn they are fragile!

Long story, cut short I got a correct dial, red second hands and some hand pressers. This time it worked a treat. Took about 30 mins...a relieved man - new Fifty Five fathoms.

I love red second hands!

Good work.

Dagaz sells them...for some reason they sell them in threes, so I've got a couple of spares. There are all manner of interesting hands and dials to mod Seikos, so I might be tempted to have another go!

:lmao: I see what you did there!

Great job my friend, and like twofake, I too like a red second hand, so much so, going for a rouge TC Sub when funds allow.
