SteveA 309 Posted September 30, 2013 Mrs A is after a new watch.she has seen a Raymond well and a bulova.both are quartz, both stainless bracelets, both with some diamonds on.to be fair she looks at the watch more as a piece of jewelry. The RW is more than twice the price of the Bulova which looks nicer!is the price difference worth it and what are the differences between these two brands, went to an AD yesterday and the both looked good quality in the hand. Jetpants 40 Posted September 30, 2013 I've bought a handful of ladies reps over the years and the only one worth buying was the tag huer f1 chrono. The ceramic one. Edit: it strikes me that you may not have been asking about reps at all. If so, ignore above

greg_r 83 Posted September 30, 2013 My wife has a Raymond Weil. Very nicely made watch although, given that it's quartz, it was a bit expensive for what it was. Bulova also make some nice watches - and, as always, because they're not so much of a 'luxury' brand, they're well priced. Ultimately you end up paying for the name, but the wife likes her RW so it was money well spent
dfq23 131 Posted September 30, 2013 The ladies aquaracer reps are spot on almost super rep quality and plenty of variations to choose from. Most dealers have em

NFleischer 4,355 Posted September 30, 2013 As far as reps- the Channel J12 Ceramic is a great one for ladies. And they're dirt cheap. A regular 36mm DJ is also very nice, or the Cartiers, Balloon, Tank, Roadster. The RW Gen has a bit more pizazz, maybe a bit better than Bulova IMO.
J.Eric 698 Posted September 30, 2013 Buy one you like gift her she will not like keep for you ^_^ I recommend a PAM187 or a Rolex Deep Sea Challenge. +1 on the Challenge. My wife would wear mine if she didn't have 5 inch wrist
cannon_fodder1010 0 Posted October 1, 2013 Funny but my wife saw one of my newest reps and asked if I could get her one like it. Turns out that there isn't one like it so she'll have to settle for one that's the same. It's a Rolex Daytona with chocolate brown dial on a strap. My first Rolex rep and it is small enough for a woman but the strap is still far too big.

My wife has a gen Datejust (pearl face and diamond dial), a gen white Chanel J12 Ceramic, and a rep black Chanel J12 Ceramic. She likes all of them, though she tends to wear the Datejust the most.
