AR scratch .....

hey guys just purchased a new crpo from josh

( http://www.p-cls.com...36-p-14730.html ).

 

I accidentally scratched the crystal @ 11 oclock and 1 oclock and i was owndering if diamond paste is the way to go to get these scratches off.

I have been doing some research via search bar and came across this

Im not sure if i can go this route on this watch. I am also not sure if there is AR on the face of the crystal and underneath.

 

Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

I believe it does have double AR on the crystal, meaning on the inside as well as the outside. You could use the method described in your link but you would polish the entire outer AR coating off. This means your crystal will reflect more from the outside.

So the 3 options are:

1. live with the scratches

2. Polish outer AR off and live with single layer AR

3. Send your crystal to sunnydale @RWI and get your entire crystal AR redone like GEN for a fraction of the costs.

 

PS I would definitely choose option 3 :P
