Grymes 0 Posted July 1, 2010 My name is Chris Cantrell and I found RWG 2 days before my YMII (rock in a box) was to be delivered COD. I rejected the package and then immediately sent "Simmons" an email asking him where my watch was. He is sending it back as soon as he gets the package returned. I will then not answer the door for the mail carrier when he reships just to screw with him and his postage costs :P I work graveyards at a hotel and have a small photography company on the side. www.GRYMES.net I recently ordered a WM9 YM from BK and when it arrives I promise to post pix. Let me know if you have any special requests! Chris
greg_r 82 Posted July 1, 2010 It's those stories that are the reason why this place exists. Good to hear it worked out! You sure made a good choice with the watch you're buying from BK - not too many start out with a watch of that kinda quality. Looking forward to the pics - if your website is anything to go by, they should be quite something :P
Luthier 1 Posted July 1, 2010 Yes, one special request - if we saved you, you should become RWG supporter. :P Welcome to the forum!!!

Grymes 0 Posted July 1, 2010 Is there a set amount for Donation/Vip or w/e?
KinCaidk 0 Posted July 1, 2010 Chris, I'm glad that it worked out... Really looking forward to those YM pics too :P
Luthier 1 Posted July 1, 2010 Is there a set amount for Donation/Vip or w/e? Yup. Very modest amount of $25, but, as a man, who can afford WBK, you can double it. :P
Grymes 0 Posted July 1, 2010 Chris, I'm glad that it worked out... Really looking forward to those YM pics too :P It will get no mercy from me. It will be subject to the full wrath of the 1:1 magnification of my Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro and no photoshop. Let me know if theres any specific measurements I should take! greg_r 82 Posted July 1, 2010 Is there a set amount for Donation/Vip or w/e? Yep. Don't let Luth pressure you, mate, but a 12 month VIP subscription is $29.95 AU (which comes out to about $25 USD). It gives you access to the supporters' forum, occasional discounts from some of our dealers along with various other benefits like increased PM storage, access to occasional VIP-only competitions and various other odds and ends. All funds raised go back into the board to pay hosting costs and other ongoing expenses. Anything left over beyond a contingency fund (if we ever do manage to have anything left over!) will go back to the membership via giveaways and free competitions. PM me if you decide to go ahead at some point. :P
