WQ's potpourri collection (2 years of rep collecting)

Thank you to RWG for providing this great resource for this addictive hobby. I am poorer yet richer for it. Enjoy the pictures!

 

First some IWCs. The Cousteau is a great piece. The watch has a solid feel and weight. The grey subdials and the white flange really pops out. The rubber strap feels great and even has a oddly minty smell to it.

 

I'm not a fan of the Big Pilot series. Loved the Portuguese but the 7750 had issues with seconds@6, so I went for the quartz. The miramar also didn't have any good reps, hence the quartz also. Personally I think you need a few quartz watches in your collection for days you can just grab a watch and go without having to wind and set the time.

 

Moving to the Pams. I only realised how good the Pams were when I got my PAM250 Daylight. Then I had to get a representative Radiomir, hence the PAM288.

 

I have a small wrist and before I moved onto the larger watches, I started out with some smaller face watches: namely the Omegas and Rolex.

Thanks ArcticMonkey! The beautiful or sad thing is that even after all this, there are still many reps that I hanker after (see my wishlist in my signature)! And I still get that little flutter in my heart when I place an order with our TDs.

 

TheInthusiest: I love the Nautilus too. So much I'm thinking of getting the blue dial in stainless steel for everyday wear.
