The AD compliments him on his watch. They talk about the watches in store and on salesperson. He leaves. End of story. He finds it funny that an AD complimented him on a rep so he posts it here. There is nothing wrong with this. I do it ALL THE TIME. There is no flaunting of a rep in an AD but if you happen to walk into a store with one on, who cares? The OP clearly didn't flaunt it and take it off for the AD to handle and carefully inspect. The AD saw is from several feet away. So what? you're all greatly overreacting to an innocent story. OP, dont let this this thread get to you. The only take away you should get is simply dont flaunt a rep to an AD even if it is a super rep, its just bad manners.
