Sorry if this has been discussed before but im quite new with forums.

I want to buy a 42 mm case / white dial - Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Rubberclad Stainless replica. After browsing the forum I learned that this replicas come in different version / movement / quality based on the manufacturer/"factory".

My questions are:

1) There is a version with 7753 movement or Swiss ETA for this watch?

2) What is the best replica available for this watch?

2) What is the dealer with the best experience with AP replicas from the Trusted Dealer list?

Thank you for your time.

Hello there ! welcome !

Sorry if this has been discussed before but im quite new with forums.

first rule is to read a lot and search. use that function! :)

1) There is a version with 7753 movement or Swiss ETA for this watch?

2) What is the best replica available for this watch?

3) What is the dealer with the best experience with AP replicas from the Trusted Dealer list?

they is a 7750 version of it. i have not seen a lot of Gen swiss 7750 lately ... go for the 7750 asian copy ;)

The best replica is the replica of your choice ! some may prefer the reliability of quartz but others will want to be more gen like and have a real 7750 movement. The best one is the one you buy. But then again, use the search button… you will find somme info on those.

You have to understand, so please read the noob guide, that trusted dealers are only dealers, they all buy their watches from the same sources. All trusted dealers are used to AP ! ;) they are popular.

There is no substitute for doing your own homework......;)

I would recommend reading a lot about the Asian 7750 with seconds @ 12 movement, not to mention reps in general. There are some superb AP reps out there so check them out on here and on Trusted Dealer websites (also the watch review section, TD feedback sections).

Thank you for your answers parisianshut and Doc. Trust me, I've spent last two days on the forum but there are so many directions and I have the feeling I'll never cover all and miss something. I would like to know if there is better movement then A7750 for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Rubberclad? Maybe a VALJOUX? I am scared that I'll pay 5-600 dollars and risk to broke the movement after a period so I don't care about the cost, I want a reliable movement. Also do you recommend go for another Royal Oak Offshore model? There is a chance to find a more reliable movement on other ROO model?

The 7750's with secs @ 12 are potentially problematic but i believe that they are improved these days with the addition of another jewel. I have had quite a few of these and have not had a problem yet. Best thing to do is get the watch and enjoy it then if you start to have problems send it to Domi ( a modder on RWI and Repgeek ) he will do a mov't service and three jewel mod which should sort the issue for you ( he will charge around 180 euro for this service ) while you are at it have his colourless AR done and you will not recognise your watch when you get it back. He will also swap a swiss 7750 in for you with three jewel mod - this is expensive though ( around 350 euro for just the movt ) Be advised he will have your watch for a couple of months at least as his services are much in demand - totally worth it though .. hope that helps :)

Thank for the tip but how can I be sure that I buy a model with that extra jewel? I can't find a TD that specify that. Also there is nobody who sell AP ROO already modded with that three jewell ? And I also repeat my previous question: There is a chance to find a better rep (quality + movement) for other ROO model then the classic Rubberclad?

I think all the newer models have improved movement. No there is no one who sells already modded - this is a specialist modification performed only by Domi. If you don't want to take a chance then go for either a quartz model ( i don't know who sells these but i think silix - the quality is pretty good from what i have heard ) or go for an AP diver. As i said though i have had about 6 or 7 of the secvs @ 12 and other than my black themes ( which was old model and had a poor power resrve but still worked fine ) have not had a problem.

The only other chance you have is to try and get one which has been modded from M2M sales but they don't come up often

Thank you for your answers guys. I am quite upset, there is a Swiss movement version for the ROO Diver but nobody made it for the classic Rubberclad. Anyway, is the ROO Rubberclad noob factory A7750 reliable enough or do I risk to kill the movement just using the chronograph? What about the building quality? Is a better replica or do you recommend me go with the V5 Diver just released?

well when you pay 2% of the price of the real watch. do not expect to have the same quality, the reliability can change from time to time but overall it is very good regarding the complexity of these.

no one recommand to intensivly use the chronograph. i have a couple of 7750 and never had a problem with them even if i show off the chronograph function everytime i can ...

BTWthe diver is a fantastic watch. i have one of these ! :)

by the sounds of it you should just get a Diver then you won't have to worry about it .............. understand that in the rep game there are sacrifices you have to make for the money you are spending with certain models and if you want a more reliable ROO ( although i will say again i have had no real problems with mine) then the initial $ 500.00 is not the end of it, as i said you will have to at least the same again to have a modded swiss 7750 fitted.... if you get one of the new Divers it will be very accurate to the gen and reliable.

I'd consider the new Diver v5. I've been very happy with mine.

Whell first of all, very good choice about the AP rubbercad silverdial (white dial)- the thing with this model it isnt accurate. Lack of silver shine on the mega tappisserie dial (hope i spelled tappisserie right :P).

From mine understanding all of the enw models have the extra jewel in there movement, also I would just buy what you like. I was like this ass whell, stressing about what is the best accurate rep (I did this for silly reasons- so nobody would call on me for wearing a rep).

Now Im at a point that I buy what I want - if the funds will be available I really really really want to uy a AP Rubens barrichello platinum - (blue dial)- the watch is in dollars round about 100.000 us :D

About the movement, if it has problems send it for a service- to a reliable source- even gen needs servicing ya dig :D

Whell let us know if we can help you further.

PS:

Mine top AP's

Oh really? No replica goat is as good as a real goat but considering the use I'm sure you put goats to it's good thing it's a rep. Time to call the hamster, hope he didn't party too hard last night.
