Not doing OEM's..... 8 Straps to order for me...... 10 new reps bought ....very nearly equals the price of one used but new gen AP. .. BUT I think i'm about to have a whole lot more fun..... I think about 20 something watches have flowed through QC already, in order probably of who paid first. Tip: Check your spam/junk mail, as some of my in time.co mail ended up there lately. slaughterer 0 Posted November 30, 2013 What are the main first thoughts on the watch my 2 cents: overall quality seems excellent waiting for the watch to arrive to make any judgements on colors and tints if the dial/hand colours need adjusting, it should not be such a big deal, at least for me. slaughterer 0 Posted November 30, 2013 That is a very dark blue. You are going to have to remove the thread. Then use a leather preparer or a cleaner or a leather duller (if you want matte) first to see if you can lighten the colour. If APB used a first white layer, then the blue should lighten. If not, you might need to start over with a first white layer, then a subsequent navy layer, thinned slightly. After you get the colour you want, re-stitch. A nice weekend project.
