stamp_69 0 Posted July 14, 2010 Was about to order an IWC Aquatimer when I noticed another one of the recommended reps selling the same watch with a "new" Asian 7750 movement for just $20 more. I've been looking on the web can't find any info re "new" asian 7750 movements. Is there such a thing as a "new" movement, is there a significant difference? AllergyDoc 40 Posted July 14, 2010 Used to be the "old" A7750 were lower beat movements: 21.6K. The "newer" ones were upgraded to 28.8K beat. I didn't know there were any "old" A7750 around anymore. I think the "new" tag is likely marketing hype.

AllergyDoc 40 Posted July 14, 2010 To further muddy the waters, watches with lower beat A7750's are still being sold. I don't know if they're the older movements or not.
