greg_r 81 Posted November 17, 2011 In theory a lot of these subs are waterproof out of the box, but QC isn't the greatest so you can't be 100% sure unless you have it tested. If it fails the test, it's just a matter of greasing the o-rings and doing it back up nice and tight. Simple job. A lot of shopping malls have little watch repair booths who can do this kind of thing for you cheaply.
Erdal 0 Posted November 30, 2011 Mine has been received from timeshop yesterday! here you can find some pictures; http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/853/img0084xs.jpg http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/804/img0085iw.jpg http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/685/img0086ig.jpg http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/401/img0097aq.jpg The delivery was wonderful. the watch is really supper comparing what I paid. There are only small problem with the triangle at the top in the dial that it is not completely filled with white material. And there is a very very small blue dot on that triangle which cannot be seen if you do not look at carefully. finally as a result, it's excellent for me as a replica one
MadeOfCheese 0 Posted January 4, 2012 I have the same watch from Timesshop - really pleased with it. It's my first rep, but I honestly can't see anything wrong with the watch itself (other than the 21j bph - if you watch it you can see that it's not quite as smooth...) My one criticism would be the edges of the clasp are a little sharp. I haven't checked against a gen, but I can't believe the gen clasp would be that sharp. As a bonus, mine gains about 10 seconds a day, which is waaaay better than my gen Omega Seamaster This one's a keeper, for definite
MadeOfCheese 0 Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) On a similar note, is this the correct clasp? It has the rolex emblem on the small clip, whereas I have seen them with the rolex emblem on the main part of the clasp as well. I'm guessing that both are valid for different years and models etc, but does anyone have a resource for what's accurate? The clasp is the part of this watch I'm least satisfied with...
