The first ones were pretty rough but over time and having the right tools, things progressed nicely. I find the hardest thing is finding a decent piece of leather. Agreed, with the right tools it's much easier, each strap I make is better than the last one. Still waiting for the strap end cutter. Really hoping to get it soon so I can finish off some straps that are in the pipes. I hear you with finding good leather.
