New Shoes For Vintage 1 Steinhart

Got my Vintage 1 Steinhart last week,on a very nice,well made s/steel bracelet,but since its got echo's to the vintage look,ive decided to put it on a brown leather vintage style strap.

Cool I like it on the leather, best of both worlds...a leather NATO perhaps. Anyway, you can always mix and match! Vintage on NATO

Not too bad, R1, not too bad!

However; the pitch blackness of that particular Nato doesn't really 'set off the dial', but merely contrasts it. Since Natos are two for a penny, try a more neutral colour, like sand, light olive or even admiral grey (yes, I'm serious:-)

 

Or maybe a red or yellow pinstripe in the black Nato to compliment the dial...
