jojods 0 Posted January 10, 2014 I love the Panerai look, it's gorgeous. I am looking for a rep but not sure which model I like the best. My favourite has to be the Pam360 but doesn't have a good rep so I decided to look at more models. In your opinion what is the best panerai rep: 1) the best affordable rep 2) the best super rep would love to know what you guys think thanks

Chiquita Fanjita 1,885 Posted January 10, 2014 My 297 is my fave PAM but in terms of the best super rep PAM, I'd go for the
gigahertz15 0 Posted January 10, 2014 PAM 312 (high quality rep, movement a bit off) and PAM 292 (one of the best super reps)

So...you want a super rep, but you don't want a super rep? Just kidding mate. If you want a super rep- they aren't super cheap, unless you compare them to the super gen, in which case they are indeed super cheap. If you want to spend less, you well get an inferior rep, there are some basic looking PAMs (oh gee, aren't they all basic looking?) that look good at a not so bad price. I just bought a super rep Hublot V6 BB then I saw the Panerai 441 and I've fallen in love haha don't want to spend too much but I need this watch lol

Just give up, because you have started the journey now. You'll get the next rep, another will come up, you'll buy it and so on. Then you will see another and another. The cycle continues. BTW, there are nice straps to be had too, start checking out some combos.....

TheTinMan 13 Posted January 10, 2014 This is a great place to start: http://www.replica-w...5.html?t=107365 It's been said everyone should have a 111 as it is a super rep - it was my first PAM and it is good. My other favorites: PAM 186 - Arktos GMT. Toro has these on sale. Good deal if you ask me. PAM 505 Decorated movement - not exactly perfect, but nice to look at: One word of warning. These fucking Panerai's sneak up on you and next thing you know you've got a bunch in your collection. Be careful - proceed with caution.
Jonnybaws 5,282 Posted January 10, 2014 I don't have a fav Pam, I love the looks of most of them (yes, I'm a simpleton ). Currently own two, 111 and 380 and both are stunning!
gigahertz15 0 Posted January 10, 2014 Honestly. I didn't get the PAM hype at first. They were very meh. I would rate everything before them, Breitling, Hublot, AP, Omega, etc. Then I bought one. And another. And another. Then I bought straps. Now I want to buy more PAMs, because I think they will go well with certain straps. Seriously. That shit cray. Always had a better experience selling them, than buying them. Only one left, an O88 (and even I would keep a Pam over a Huwblow)

jdlynch10 0 Posted January 10, 2014 My 297 is my fave PAM but in terms of the best super rep PAM, I'd go for the 288 Hey there, I am new to the forum. I have a few rep Rolexes and was looking for a good automatic Panerai -- I was wondering where you got the watch in the top photo, that is the exact one I've been trying to find for a while now! Also wondering if it came with that leather bracelet or if I could find another, preferably distressed brown?
