Trio of Diver's

The Seiko bug bit me about 2.5 years ago and boy did it bite me hard. It was the Seiko Spork (SRP043K2) that caught my eye and after some sourcing i managed to get my hands on one of them. It was around this time that i discovered about the Seiko MM300 as well and it was a dream to own one, i was still a student then so splashing a few K's on a watch was impossible.

But it wasn't enough. After about a year, i had to get some silver finishing on the dial, for more dressy occasions. That's when i bought the black Sumo, (SBDC001). Strap options were rather limited because of the long lugs, but the watch did look sweet on the stock SS bracelet.

And still, it wasn't enough. So yesterday, i bit the bullet and got myself that dream watch that i drooled over 2.5 years ago, the MM300 (SBDX001).

The look, feel and finishing of the watch screams nothing but quality. I did notice a small dot on the 11 o'clock marker due to the lume being hand-applied but it doesn't bother me one bit, i see it as a way for me to identify my watch so no biggie.

'nuff said, on to some pictures.

The Spork when i first got it 2.5 years ago, paired with a black Brady Sailcloth strap:

The Sumo on stock SS bracelet, this picture emphasizes the long lugs on the Sumo:

And finally, the MM300 when i got it yesterday, on stock bracelet, unsized:

Paired it with the Di-Modell Chronissimo and i think i have a winner: :D

That's all for now guys, thanks for reading!

Cheers :D

Sounds like i should double lock the watch to my wrist when i'm out and in the safe when it's home. :P

Jokes aside though, i do hope you guys recover your mm300's some day. Or just get another one :)
