selfmade water pressure tester

Recommended Posts

debian

Hi,

Following this tutorial http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=16317

I have made myself a water pressure tester :)

The pressure tester seem to be working fine.

I have tested my gen Certina DS to 5 bar. That should be about the same as 50 meters.

It is supposed to be 100 meters water resistant when I bought it for over 10 years ago.

It think that it passed the test alright.

It was a few bubbles from the chrono pushers... but if it is a leak it should be a stream of bubbles, right?

I haven't dared to test any of my reps yet....

How are you lowering the watch into the water after pumping up to pressure?

I don't see a lowering method.

Depends whether the bubbles from the pushers only continued for a few seconds, or whether they continued for over 30 seconds. They could be trapped air under the pusher housings (a few seconds) but they could be leaky pushers to!

I have yet to see good seals on pushers.....FWIW.

You fasten tha watch with tape and flip the bottle.

Then the tape gives way and air starts to pour out of the watch........OH SHIT!!!!! :D

Allergy Doc can get great deals on penis pumps if anyone needs one.

The pressure tester (nicely done btw) could double as a scrotal inflation device, if you are into that:

Debian, the leak may not be @12, the air tends to stay under the bezel untill it reaches the top.

Try rotating the watch thru several positions and see what happens.
