greg_r 82 Posted August 3, 2010 Yup - same symptoms as the other week. Server responds to ping, DNS seems to be resolving okay but there's no port 80 response... oh well...

trailboss99 996 Posted August 3, 2010 Hey Richie, Pepi, sorry but it looks like someone upset the apple cart again. Either that or the RG server hamsters are on strike. Gotta keep that wheel spinning Col.

dingle 57 Posted August 3, 2010 having RWG only go down once while we changed servers ( and we were well informed when and what time this was going to take place) since I have been here makes me realize what a great job the Admin here do. Not near enough credit is given where it is due....especially considering the pay..... well done fellas :D
Pepi 0 Posted August 3, 2010 It will be back up just as soon as we find some memory chips for the server ...

Not near enough credit is given where it is due....especially considering the pay..... well done fellas lol *takes a bow* Servers do go down occasionally (as I know to my cost given that I spent a panicky three hours yesterday rescuing our primary server where I work!). The trick is to do sufficient preventative maintenance to ensure that it doesn't happen often
