DG335 0 Posted February 7, 2014 To all the guys who commented on the previous post, many thanks. I had a great 4 days in sunny Melbourne and took you up on a few tips for eating. However id like to point out that a "coffee culture" should not be defined by sheer volume of outlets. If it did, you'd win hands down. I think I'd prefer to get that coffee on the champs élysées, the streets of Milan or down the ramblas in barca.... Still the coffee was good even if the view wasn't. Went to - 'Chokolait' in Bourke Street Mall 8/10. (Great chocolate!) - flower drum, excellent Chinese 8/10 - The Graham , poncy Bistro 5/10 - Wayside Inn, great food and atmosphere 9/10 Several visits around the general area. Had to go to the MCG. Managed to watch the Hobart Hurricanes beat the Melbourne Stars. Now really looking forward to getting back to 8deg and gales in Ireland... Happy days
