stevok2305 1 Posted February 7, 2014 Think everyone bidding should have their ebay accounts cancelled due to their obvious insanity
jingo.smile 0 Posted February 7, 2014 760$? Wtf? are they blind?
thedoc73 0 Posted February 7, 2014 760$? Wtf? are they blind? I mean I hate seeing scum bags selling super reps as gens as they are so hard to spot....but I kinda feel anyone bidding more than $10 for this deserves all they get. I read somewhere years ago about a thing called ebay fever...someone posted a standard £1 coin for sale it went for a few hundred quid. People dont like getting outbid. After seeing this I may auction of a few £1 coins!!
tottenham 6 Posted February 7, 2014 What happens to these people do they actually keep the money, get reported to police etc?
thedoc73 0 Posted February 7, 2014 What happens to these people do they actually keep the money, get reported to police etc? If they manage to sell that piece of s*** to anyone they should be offered a job in an AD somewhere!
Wriggles 12 Posted February 7, 2014 Look what else that he's selling, surely this is NYCKid in disguise http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clae-Cousteau-Red-Leather-Boat-Shoes-Velcro-Sneakers-/221367010624?pt=US_Men_s_Shoes&hash=item338a808540 Seriously though, look how scrawny the kids arms are (and he's got to be a kid) he needs the money to pay for food! seanjames 2 Posted February 7, 2014 Lol, it makes me laugh that anyone with 60% positive feedback can list anything Surely fleabay should put in a measure that when your feedback drops below say 90% you can't list anything! Makes sense?
Wriggles 12 Posted February 7, 2014 Lol, it makes me laugh that anyone with 60% positive feedback can list anything Surely fleabay should put in a measure that when your feedback drops below say 90% you can't list anything! Makes sense? Really? Then how does anyone who has never sold anything on ebay ever get to sell anything? eBay would be full of nothing if they applied such a criteria. Nothing stops someone posting bad feedback, low scale sellers ie the average joe, would be screwed if one or two people thought they sold them something that didn't meet their expectations. Remember it's not just sellers who may be out to scam, buyers may equally be an issue
seanjames 2 Posted February 7, 2014 Good point Surely there could be a mechanism better than what's in place now Obviously new sellers wouldn't have to match the 90% criteria until they had sold X amount of goods, say 10 as an example I don't tend to pick up bad feedback on fleabay as I sell decent stuff, yes there are a few silly buyers out there who try stuff on, but generally those people don't leave feedback anyway as they know what they will get in retaliation. On the stories I could tell lol
court 12 Posted February 7, 2014 At least 2 and probably more of the bidders are shill accounts imho. There's no way this gets to $760 or 12 legitimate bidders on the info provided so something isn't right (Apart for the obvious that is)
court 12 Posted February 7, 2014 yes there are a few silly buyers out there who try stuff on, but generally those people don't leave feedback anyway as they know what they will get in retaliation. How do you retaliate? The leaving of feedback for buyers ended long ago.
