sungod 1 Posted February 9, 2014 13 years ago, I bought this rep and don't know what this is or how close to gen this is. Any help identifying it would be helpful.
Mazz 62 Posted February 9, 2014 a watch.................................. Im sure some brietling fanboy will be along shortly but to me that looks like some fantasy model
frozen 0 Posted February 9, 2014 I did some looking. The model on the back doesn't appear to match up with what you've got. I can't find any that have that style of compass bezel either. It looks like the Super Avengers on the face, sort of. I agree with Chairman, I think it's a fantasy model.
sungod 1 Posted February 9, 2014 Fantasy? WTF? The watch is still working good 13 years later. I bought it online from TD rep that used only Jap movements. Paid $375 and have buckle, the band was done (wore it till it died). I wish I could remember the TD but it has been along time ago. Here is the buckle:
fatarms 7,825 Posted February 9, 2014 Definitely fantasy model. The bezel has Breitling Emergency engravings and the dial looks to be an attempt at a Colt chrono?
chats 1 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) i am not familiar with breitlings from 13 years ago, but it reminds me of my dads chronomat that he got around 20 years ago Edited February 9, 2014 by chats
Mystery Shopper 5,887 Posted February 9, 2014 Looks like a Breitling chrono cockpit based fantasy model.

SSTEEL 0 Posted February 9, 2014 Certainly looks like a fantasy model. How many times you replaced the battery in those 13 years ? :P
sungod 1 Posted February 9, 2014 I will go with the name theinthusiest gave it: "breitling flying spirit chrono". It even sounds like a real breitling name. I had the watch stored and recently came out of the box. I had never changed the battery till a week ago and to my surprise it still works! Since we are sticking to fantasy, what is a good fantasy band for it? Should I go NATO strap to maintain that "military flying spirit"?

sungod 1 Posted March 7, 2014 Here is an update: Had the "breitling flying spirit chrono" fitted with a new band. I went NATO in order to maintain the military fantasy theme.
YotaBoy 0 Posted March 7, 2014 Who cares if it's a fantasy? Its not one of the blatantly obvious ones and think it looks great
