puckskraper 0 Posted August 5, 2010 I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a noobfactorty Rolex SS Submariner on sale from TS. This will be my first rep purchase. How does the noobfactory rate vs. others in its price range? Is there a newer revision? Sorry, I'm not fully up on my history of this watch, or any other for that matter. Is there a negative reason for him letting these go for nearly half price? Like a new rev on its way? If all seems good then I'm leaning toward the Asian copy 2836 ($93) but haven't ruled out the 21j ($45). Is the 2836 worth twice as much?
greg_r 83 Posted August 5, 2010 The 2836 will give you a smoother sweep (8 beats per second vs 6), and is, imho, worth the extra. At that kinda price, the watch is tough to beat - don't hesitate.

Tofast4u2c 0 Posted August 5, 2010 Greg, I thought BK was the top Roli Rep ?
GC 4,517 Posted August 5, 2010 @ puck... go for it! 2836 all the way @ TF4U2C... apples to oranges...plumbs to pears. Yes BK&WM9 have the best because of the mods & movt up grades and such...but the price difference truly makes up for it.
greg_r 83 Posted August 6, 2010 Greg, I thought BK was the top Roli Rep ? Sure, at 4 times the price. For $93, this is a helluva good watch.

puckskraper 0 Posted August 7, 2010 The Asian copy 2836 SS Black Sub is on order for $113 shipped via EMS, AMAZING! Thanks again guys, I can see how this can become addictive. Let me say the service I've received from Mark @ TS has been top notch. First I ordered the wrong color (green) and had to cancel. Then on my second attempt my CC required that I jump through hoops before going through forcing me to cancel yet again. The third time was the charm and all went well. His replies via email and "live chat" have been prompt and pleasant. Let's hope I'm as happy with the watch.
