Its a thick leather curved end strap, with a rubber finish. Very smooth, attracts 0 lint or dust, and after a lot of fiddling, got it on to the SMP. In my rather short investigation, this is the closest thing you'll get to a curved rubber strap for an OMG if you don't want to spend £200+ on a gen rubber. This cost £35 + £2 postage.
